I like some technical Death Metal, Black Metal, Doom, Symphonic metal, and but I really like Progressive Death Metal the most. Opeth is (or was) probably the most prolific progressive death metal band, and they're hands down my favorite band. I also tend to like more mathcore and technical stuff like Blotted Science and Dillinger Escape Plan
