I have recently counted OVER 20 blogs written by someone over a 3-7 hour period. That's right over 20. Over 5 in one hour at one point.
I have noticed with this type of "blogging" there is a lot of misinformation presented. I work full time as a physical therapist. Upon three DIFFERENT occasions I have found this individual posting blogs that either have no source, have a source but he/she directly contradicted it, or is written in a very misleading way. These blogs all have to do with health. One in particular could be lethal to a diabetic if followed.
I typically enjoy writing well thought out blogs 1-3 times a DAY. I'm a firm believer in quality over quantity. Unfortunately, and i can say this as a new steemer myself, many people on here are mass producing blurbs of "information" with or without sources. The mass production is a problem. There's no way you could put out, say 5 written blogs in an hour and expect quality.
- Instead, you get blatant misinformation because the individual rushed to get this blog
written. - you see multiple grammatical errors or sentences poorly constructed that make no sense
- you see articles with potentially dangerous info put out with no reference
Please, please, please steeemers..... if you're going to write a blog about health TAKE your time. Not everyone here works in healthcare or would even know the info was incorrect. Same goes for all topics.
This is a phenomenon I call "tabloid" steeming. I have seen it from a few people. It's a gold digging phenomena. I feel it also buries quality content.
You'll make more money and establish more meaningful connections if you take your time with blogging.
Mass production of poorly written blogs can't be fun! We are supposed to be having fun here!!!
