I recently encounter a topic about being 'Torpe'
Torpe is a state where one has romantic feelings for someone but doesn't act on it.
and people generally understood that as this stems for a fear of rejection.
and I think that's just not true.
Hesitation does not stem from fear of the consequences, it stems from the possibility that there are other options to consider.
a desperate person with no other options will cling to any opportunity given to them.
but a person with options will take his or her time in picking the best opportunity.
