The best times we’ve had on earth are the ones we've shared with our loved ones. It's amazing how much I still miss my old man and the other loved ones I have lost over the past few years.
The most important people are the ones who loved me when i was hardly likeable.
This video is a video, I watch when ever I feel like I'm forgetting him. He wasn't perfect but his love for me was. And now I pass that same love to my children and the ones around me.
My uncle passed away and his funeral is tomorrow, I had the honour to put together his video montage for his funeral. To gain a snippet of his life spent with his children and grandchildren. I couldn't stop crying by the end of it. What a brilliantly strong and loyal family man. That I aspire to be like.
So many men can build a fortune but so few can build a family.
We get so caught up in the misleading NOW that sometimes we forget how quickly it can all slip away from us. We sometimes argue with those loved ones, we hold onto these surface emotions, we get caught up in life's struggles it's pressures or trying to build something from the ground up but when it's all said and done. It's those loved ones, those relationships, those friendships that are the richest parts of us, the intertangled souls that come with all sorts of emotions, memories and planned futures that bind us, That fill us with this thing called love and build parts of us up rather than down. THEY are our resolve! Hold onto those, don't close your eyes or yourself off to them.
Because...
You won't know how much you’ll miss someone until they’re gone. Go give them a big hug while you have the chance none of us will be around forever. So to those who have lost parts of that love that has made you, you haven't really lost it, they are inside you. And it's your duty to share it with the ones still here who matter most. That is the real NOW. Don't lose your way.
