Hey there,
I have already mentioned it during my post in the morning. We got a new pet this weekend. A mouse. I haven't seen her yet, but my girlfriend has seen here - once.
Key facts: black, 10cm, long tail
After several different tries to build a trap out of an PET bottle, I decided to recreate a simpler version of a mousetrap.
In the picture below you can see my prototype. All you need is a container, chocolate cream, a piece of wood, a can and a ramp to pave the way for the mouse.
As an appetizer I positioned a cashew nut at the end of the ramp to motivate the mouse.
In the ideal case, our new friend grabs the nut and asks for more - sees the chocolate cream - jumps on the can and falls into the container.
Then I can let the mouse out again into the nature where it belongs.
She has not bitten yet. But I'll keep you up to date.
Cheers
