For today, I have a simple biography about a member of the #berserkers. It’s not something I normally would write, but I appreciate the effort that Hive account@valorforfreedom and Hive account@hopehuggs have taken to encourage building a tightly-knit community that is focused on non-stop improvement. They have a monthly rewards task that encourages us towards this goal. This month, it is about writing about someone else in the community, and I’ve taken the opportunity to learn more about a fellow berserker, Hive account@dawnsheree.

Background

Dawn is really the perfect name, as you can see the optimism and general cheerfulness radiate from her posts, as well as interactions on the discord.

For some background, there were links to her non-Steemit blog so I plucked some examples of the cheery optimism.

Very much agreed. If we can help it, spread that contagious positive energy. And even when you’re down, good to have someone just to listen.

Q and A

Here I asked some random questions that popped into my head.

First, I asked how she came to join the Berserkers. She met Hive account@valorforfreedom in a different discord community and he invited her to join. She lurked awhile in our channel and had some fun interactions, and hopped onboard after being inspired by the growth of the group. After hopping around various communities she never really interacted with much of them except for us. In her words, she realized that "the Berserkers mean business.”

Since she likes food and travel, I asked what her favorite food is. And it is… chicken and pasta. Can’t complain about that, sounds great!

Since she’s so positive, I wanted a bit of contrast and asked her about something she dislikes or fears. She fears dogs. Not Opal, I should hope! But no, barking dogs. Still possibly Opal on occasion. Mad dogs. Barking mad dogs. Scary barking dogs. I thought it was possibly about strays, but it also includes Guard dogs. Once or twice she was chased by dogs and had to climb a gate. Maybe she’d still get along with Opal though. Opal is cute and friendly.

But anyway, Hive account@dawnsheree Dawn’s here-e! A pleasure to meet you. (I know, that was pretty terrible, but I couldn’t help it.)
