I just finished watching it and I'm glad that it's over. I don't think I have it in me to watch another show like GOT again, not after that abysmal Season 8 that somewhat ruined my experience of watching it and the excitement for the last season.
Never before any series of similar length has disappointed as GOT Season 8 has. Maybe i'm over stating things but the ending could have been better for sure.
Jon was such a great character and they turned him into someone who can't do his job. Danny just dies, just like that and her dragon takes off with her body.
Jon and Tyrion remaining imprisoned after Danny's death? Why weren't everyone informed about Jon being the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. Ofcourse, dragonbreath had to melt that stone. Wonder how it got the idea to do that?
Where are the Dothraki going? What about the unsullied who were in control of King's landing. How of many unsullied remain after the war with the nightking? Could they have outnumbered the forces of everyone else.
How did HBO pass off such poor writing and agree to put their money behind making the season 8. It would have very well ended at Season 7 for all I care now.
It's nice that Drogon is alive and free, flying all over the world but what was that about Bran saying he doesn't want to be the kind but then saying "why do you think i'm here?"
Make up your mind Bran. Can you see the future or only the past? Nobody knows the full extent of his powers or why Jon went off beyond the wall. Also, a large portion of the wall was destroyed right? Why wasn’t that shown.
Well i’m sure there are many more goof ups including but not limited to a water bottle in the season finale.
I'm a little bit disappointed to say the least. It could've very well been one of the greatest shows but after making everyone wait for 2 years they somehow managed to ruin the last season.
