I've never "celebrated" and much less cared for valentines day, along with pretty much every holiday (unless it's fun, but only because of the fun).
Though as these things are considered normal, I in someway participated in especially the school promoted ones through effortless involvement... though this valentines day was a special one for me!
As I had been looking forward to it with excitement, because today was the first time I got to see the doctor surgeon Thomas San Giovanni again since December 12th, 2017 when I got the surgery for my ankle!
As you can see behind us on the wall are some "Thank you" pictures of previous patients of the thousands he's helped heal from severe ankle and knee injuries through his expertise surgical mastered skills! Although this picture of us stretching together is from months before the surgery, I forgot to take some pictures more close up of the "new" "Thank you" pictures in his new office. Though we actually talked about it today, and he mentioned how he loves unique photos, and talents! So he is just as excited to receive one of me at the tippy top of a big tree! Since he's never helped (such a passionate) a tree climber before! :)
A brief catch up since I hadn't made a post in a while, especially about my healing... since then we got this new little cute shmeisher called Charlie!
He's a wild boy, as you can see from the photos he was creepin' outside my window exploring the "natural" environment of Florida! x)
We're fostering him until he finds a loving home! So if anyone wants to adopt this adorably playful kitten just let me know!
Now for some pictures of my scars healing progress!
The main priority healing area! Though I really don't mind the scar, since I'm not into tattoos, I'm pretty covered in all kinds of scars from all my adventures, each with it's own story x)
The scar where the camera went in through.
The scar from where the hip bone was extracted to optimally fill in the big hole in my ankle!
Of course, comfrey super medicinal wraps every day!
As well as my own personal rehab, like in this picture I was doing some crystal weight lifting! :)
From the doctors update, tomorrow I will begin physical therapy with a specialist to learn some extra tips and techniques on how to optimally and most safely regain my strength and mobility of my ankle! Then use what I learn on my own times and keep training to the best I can be! :)
This will include light weight bearing, starting while still wearing the boot to alleviate full-on pressure! Then escalating towards walking with the boot, before finally using the next form of ankle stabilizer and weight bearing still gently but more directly while keeping the ankle firm from bending to the sides. Then the next level ankle brace which was the first one the scammy doctor gave me that didn't want to tell me about the pro that did my surgery so he or his coworker could do it... and then finally freely walking and climbing again!!!
Though to be honest I might occasionally start climbing sooner, just without using my right foot at all, and probably while still wearing some kind of protection... hehe, though of course I doubt it will be daily, or more than a couple minutes of climbing... I'm really missing it!
Yesterday I "climbed" for the first time since the surgery, by hugging on to a super fat palm tree in our backyard super tightly, clamping my whole body except my right foot to it, hehe.
I was grounding, and stretching, and getting some sun light, and breathing, and exercising, and "ground-climbing" before laying out the yoga mat for a more in depth session... and touching all those trees, the jack fruit tree, the mango tree, the jujube tree, the dragon fruit vine, and the palm tree, I ended up having to give one a hug, and the most huggable one was the palm tree, and I hugged it so tight and it felt so good that I had to use my whole body for the hug! <3
However, before valentines ends in less than 30 minutes, since it was my first and most special-est valentines date ever we had to celebrate it!
We kind of ate half of it before I decided to take any pictures of it... hahaha, but this is an upside down RAW vegan chocolaty fruity cheesecake I made for this day! <3
It's so yummy, and after my break from steeming I will surely be steeming more again! <3
In fact, my next raw recipe post was going to be for raw cheesecake cups, so this will probably be next! :)
The upside down cake was just a random creation with the "leftovers" since I loved these so much that during the second batch I decided to make about triple or quadruple the amount from the ones I will write about next, hehe.
