Location

Vanturatoarea Waterfall is located in Romania , the region of Caras-Severin but as a more accurate location is in Baile Herculane in the Cerna Mountains (RO: Muntii Cernei).

When I visited this place I remember I was searching a bit how to get on there as the results from the internet didn't help me so much but if you visit this remember you have to cross a stone bridge over the water where you can leave your car and get into the forest and start climbing.

The journey to the waterfall

The path to the Vanturatoarea Waterfall it's pretty rough as there are some moments when you really have to climb and hold the roots of the trees otherwise there is the risk to slip because of the slanting area. There are also some parts of the path when you have just to walk but those are pretty little, so be sure to be ready when you start this journey as the route will ask for your effort a lot and it would be very sad if you don't reach to the Vanturatoarea Waterfall. :)

As you know, the best view comes after the hardest climb so enjoy this stunning waterfall which is about 40 meters high and it's falling right from the Cerna River.

After we reached the waterfall point, we are going to take a break right under the stones, listen to the mountains silence and enjoy the view, feeling as we are on top of the world! ♡
