I don't really follow politics very closely because as a Libertarian, most of the news that comes out from either side of the political spectrum doesn't really appeal to me and it seems that none of the potential candidates ever really accomplish much of anything. However, it is really easy to notice that a vast majority of celebrities are extremely liberal. Even the ones that are conservative are normally very apprehensive to state their political leanings because of the financial backlash of voicing their opinions.
That being said, I only recently found out that Jon Voight is a strong conservative and a vocal Trump supporter. I don't really care who celebrities like in the political realm and really don't feel as though their opinion should be more highly regarded than your next-door neighbor's. Mostly, i want them to shut up but there is a certain amount of respect I have for anyone in Hollywood that comes forward as a Trump supporter and that isn't because I am, I am not, I am rather indifferent to this president the same as I have been towards all the other ones. I just admire the balls it takes to publicly support someone when you know that by doing so, is almost certainly going to damage your own career.
If I was to ask anyone to make a list of celebrities that hate Trump, you could probably fill up an A-4 sheet of paper pretty quickly but if I was to ask the same in reverse, you would struggle to fill an index card. So without using the internets I am going to see how many i can come up with in the next minute by not cheating..
- Kid Rock
- Tim Allen
- Roseanne Barr
- Dana White
And that is all I could come up with in the one minute. I'll admit that after writing Roseanne, i actually got up to make a protein shake because I was drawing a blank. Dana White really shouldn't be on this list because I don't know if I really consider him to be a celebrity... he is just a really rich guy.
I forgot James Woods! dammit. Well, by his own admission Woods has said in the past that "I don't expect to work in Hollywood anymore" after publicly supporting Trump and I wonder why Voight doesn't care. Despite the fact that I don't think that a person's political leanings should decide if they should be able to work, that is the fact of the matter in entertainment and even though I don't necessarily agree with Voight, i gotta admire someone that sticks to their beliefs even when said beliefs are almost certainly going to have a negative impact on your employment capabilities.

oh I love that scene in Enemy of the State
Without cheating, how many pro-trump celebrities can you think of in one minute? I bet it isn't many...
