A little about me. I'm the same GypsyButterfly that some of you may remember. I just joined two months ago, so, was just starting to get my footing. As I mentioned in the previous post, I had to do a clean install & lost my passwords, including for here. I have this one saved & should be here for a long time. I will be sharing some posts from before. I will note them as such. Most of you won't have read them.
I'm married to my best friend. He & I have been together, going on, 21 years. We don't have any kids of our own, but, I am a stepmom to two adults--46 & 33. I didn't have a hand in raising them. We've fostered briefly & hope to do more. Perhaps, adopting. We do have three kitties & I've loved being a pet parent. For a long time, I was a virtual assistant from home (still am, for now), but, am seriously focusing on my creative writing. I volunteer with the kitties at the local shelter. It's been very uplifting & enriching.
I enjoy reading, movies, music, baking, taking long drives, history, technology, current events, walking, watching sports, dining out, thrift/discount shops, the theater, online forums/social sites, dancing, etc. I like anything having to do with cats, rainbows, baseball, teddy bears, lighthouses, butterflies, trains, bridges, frogs, faeries, dragons & dragonflies. I look forward to making new friends here.
