1 I’m Sorry
Saying you’re sorry, is not only good manners – It is also a way of being kind! How you may ask? When we say sorry, it breaks the tension that exists between you and another person. It allows the opportunity for a relationship to restart; more importantly a fresh start with no bad vibes. Saying sorry also shows your level of emotional maturity. It allows people to respect and connect with you at a much deeper level!
2 Please and Thank-you
Here is another example of these words go way beyond good manners. Have you ever experienced a proper please where people are literally begging you and a proper thank-you where people literally want to sacrifice themselves for what you did for them? Get out of the routine of just saying “please” and “thank-you” say it heartfelt; like you mean it! You could write a card, send a gift to let people really know how much you’ve appreciated them and their assistance.

3 I love you
We should tell our nearest and dearest in your life how much we love them. We shouldn’t assume that they know this. Life is short; we should take the time while we are able too. I think it’s unkind to withhold such important information.

4 Greet and smile
Smile and greet a stranger, its amazing how we go through the day not smiling or not greeting the person behind or in front of us in a queue. Sometime we work at an office and do not greet a colleague? How many times do travel in a lift with someone and not bother to greet!

5 Listen
Another act of kindness is to listen intently when someone speaks too us. Often we try and answer a matter before we hear it out. One of the highest forms is of respect is to listen with our full attention involving all our senses.
