I would pray over it and go back to sleep. It was a very daunting experience for me. To turn around and come out of that and be nothing but either humble, grateful, or thankful is to be an absolute ignorant individual.
And ignorance is one thing I've never been accused of being. Irresponsible, yes. Ignorant, no.
And to take this experience and waste it and squander it on partisan rhetoric and on nonsense is just not something that aligns with me anymore. I don't care for the partisan rhetoric. I don't care for rhetoric altogether.
For me, what matters now is right and wrong. And that is a nonpartisan way to live. And that's how I'm looking at it.
This is your second life. I mean, this is, in many ways, it's a different type of resurrection where, and to hear you grabbing it by the horns, I pray that you're able to actually hold on to this feeling because it's much easier to do that moments after that rebirth comes than it is months from now, you know, days, weeks, months, you know, years from now. But the one thing that really encourages me is that you seem to be taking steps to hold on to that opportunity for growth, to actually make it manifest into something that is not just transient, but that is something that actually affects you and the balance of your life.
And that really inspires me with a great deal of hope. And I'm so happy that you're out, my brother. I'm so thrilled for you and for all of us.
And I just want to say welcome back. I look forward to hanging with you a lot more in the future. Let's go get that martini one of these days.
