It's day 19 and the 3rd submission to my garden journal. Just like a blog, the progress of a garden takes time and care. But some critter has been wreaking a bit of havoc, especially with the carrots!
There's not really any way for a rabbit to get into our back patio!?!? 🤣🤣
Links to the first two posts show the garden's progress.

Other than that, growth is coming along well. The zucchini is booming and tomato sprouts finally in the ground.
There are a few varieties of tomato sprouts I don't have room for and will try to give away.
Below is a row of 5 Hybrid Zucchini plants on a hill with carrots growing on the bottom. You can see the bare patch of carrots at the end of the row.
Whatever it is stripped all the leaves and left the stalks. Fortunately, they seem to be shooting up new growth.
Underneath are 2 pics of a Hybrid Zucchini plant that's doing very well. One up close and the other Up Closer!
Last is the area designated for our tomato plants. My first planting of Roma and Oregon Spring seedlings didn't turn out as well as hoped.
All the Romas died. Luckily, two Oregon Spring seedlings made it and are the larger plants in the image.
A close up of one that's growing in leaps and bounds below.
I followed up the failed Romas with seeds of Beefsteak, Red Cherry, and Early Treat varieties. They have been transplanted and are doing well.
This despite the fact that the critter was chewing on them too!! I have to find out what it is!
That's it for this week's garden journal. Have a garden too? Share pics in the comments below. I'd love to see them.
Thanks for reading and Happy Hiveing!
