Evolution and creation
Many biologists and other scientists believe that DNA and its coded instructions are the result of random, undirected processes that took place over millions of years. They say there is no proof of design either in the structure of this molecule or in the information it contains and transmits or in its functioning.
What does the Bible say?
The Bible indicates that the formation of the parts of the body, as well as the sequence in which they appear, imply the existence of a symbolic book whose author is God. Notice the following inspired description by King David: "Thy eyes saw even my embryo, and in thy book all the parts thereof were written, concerning the days when they were formed, and there was not yet one among them" (Psalm 139:16).
What do such proofs reveal?
If evolution is true, then the hypothesis that DNA is the result of a series of fortuitous events must be, at the very least, reasonably possible. And if the Bible tells the truth, then there must be solid proof that DNA is the product of an orderly and intelligent mind.
