I was snooping between my old works and found this sketches I did for one of my first casual spring summer collections inspired in Ancient Egypt culture. I used to find interesting the Pyramids architecture and was attracted to its old atmosphere of mistery.
To create this collection I used light textures, organic textiles like linen and cotton. I designed dinamic and youthful clothes with asymetrical cuts, geometrical lines and shapes like triangles, adding hieroglyphs and mistical simbols. Some others details from the Pharaohs ornaments, typical clothes of ancient egyptians like pleated skirts, belts, slave's sandals and leather bracelets were also featured.
I took characteristical colors that use to dyes egyptian landscapes, earth tones, brown, ocre and red, orange representing the hot sun.
To create this art I used crayons, watercolors and coffee..yes, coffee!🤣☕
It still has delicious smell😋
