In 100 years, if the human race or whatever follows it is still around, 90 to 99% of everything that feels incredibly important to us will be either taken for granted or totally forgotten.
Can you remember even one fact about daily life even a 100 years ago?
I once read somewhere that you have more in common with other people alive at this point in time, even people from other generations and backgrounds, than you have in common with your former self of even 10 years ago.
It's something to think about.
Humans always compare ourselves to who's around. But you know, if we could compare ourselves to all the generations that have been born or that have yet to be born, I believe that those alive today would feel a kinship that would be difficult to describe.
