If you are from the Philippines you've probably already heard about the magnitude 6.2 earthquake which struck the Luzon area yesterday.
I haven't personally felt the quake myself (as I'm from the Visayas area) but I know a thing or two of what they must have felt. And seeing some jokes about the earthquake on my facebook news feed makes me somewhat lose faith in what the humanity has become now.
Last 2013, Bohol also experienced a strong quake at a stronger magnitude of 7.2 which actually left our province with no electricity for ~3 months. Even now I can still remember how my monitor and speaker fall to the ground due to how strong the quake was. Given that our house is only a 2-storey building compared to the high-rise buildings in Manila, I'm positive that it might have been more terriying to them.
Anyway, an earthquake once again happened minutes ago near the Visayas area and one that I have also felt. According to the Phivolcs report it's of magnitude 6.2 so keep safe everyone! :)
