You might think that copy/pasting content from the internet is easier than putting in a real effort, but I assure it is not. Because when you
It's obvious. And it's annoying.
source ➤ if you need to use something that's not yours, source it.
And when you get called out on it, change your damn behavior! "Sorry, I'm new." or "I will do so in the future." are one time use kinda comments. You either learn from your mistake, or you don't.
If you don't learn from your mistake on this blog, that's gonna start earning you flags. You see...
I've got flagging in my blood. I earned a varsity letter in fucking flagging. (Please read that in a sarcastic tone, this is more funny than "serious I'm gonna flag you". haha)
Yeah, I'm old, I know. The only flags I get to play with nowadays is here on Steemit. And to be honest, I hate doing it. Y'all, can you please just come up with your own original content for the Random Challenges of the Day! For shit's sake, I'm not stupid.
All you have to do is put in A LITTLE
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I want everyone here on Steemit to succeed. And furthermore, I want to help people succeed on Steemit. That's why I do the Random Challenge every day. It's not a shit post that I can self upvote to make bukoo bucks. It's my way of engaging the community and guiding those that are lost. Steeming correctly takes practice. Knowing what to post and when to post it can sometimes be tricky. But if you stay with me, engage by the rules and participate with originality, I think you'll see that it benefits us both.
I don't want to flag my followers. I want to help you understand what you're doing wrong and help you fix it. But if you don't take my advice and keep repeating the same mistakes...I have no choice.
Common mistakes I'm seeing a lot of:
- Asking for upvotes and follows. Just don't.
- Copying content from the internet without a source. That's plagiarism guys, should be self explanatory.
- Not reading the rules of the challenges and posting entries that are invalid. Check to make sure you've understood all the instructions before posting your entry. If there's anything that's not clear, please feel free to ask me questions. :)
Ok, that's it. /rant
I feel much better now that I got that off my chest. Love and light to all who read this.
Except shitty spammers, seriously, you're harshing my steemit buzz...bazinga
