This week we got our tax return back and chris wanted to try this project that we really needed done.
photo above is how the bathroom looked before, from the Zillow listing when we bought the house
The toilet in the upstairs master bath was original to the house and it needed to be replaced. The insides were pitted and it wasn't letting anything down the drain anymore. We had a plumber quote us $600 for just a new toilet install.
Chris took that as a challenge to redo the entire room for around that same amount.
š
But you know what? he fucking did it.
$650 worth of materials and 2 days of work.
It looks amazeballs!
Chris really made this look like a whole new bathroom. it's so modern! really though, I think we're both glad to have a bathroom close to the bed again. it's a long cold walk at 3am to the downstairs bathroom when you've gotta pee and try not to wake up all the way, so you can fall back asleep quick. ya know? lol. āŗ
Right now he's taking the kids to their favorite place on earth. chuck e cheese.
The man is a saint. š
I think we're planning a little date night tonight if my mom will watch the kids.
looking forward to that!
Also getting ready to plant our garden soon! We got all heirloom seeds from our local farm store.
lavender, mint, sunflower, watermelon, corn, lettuce, cucumber, pumpkins!
so much good stuff, I know we got way more than that to plant, but I can't remember them all. hehe.
Oh! and I got an aloe plant!
It's so little and cute.
I'm gonna call it, "Aloeicious"
That's all that's happening my neighborhood steem fam. Hope you're having a wonderful day!
