According to a new study published in Psychological Science, it has been observed that when we reject our ideas manually (rather than spiritually), it helps us to get rid of them and emotionally. By contrast, folding the paper and putting it in our pocket can make us keep negative thoughts for even more time. Focusing on negative thoughts - a phenomenon called by psychologists "ruminating thoughts," can throw our psychology and can cause up to depression. In life we get what we expect. So, when we stick to negative thoughts, they become reality. Perhaps we do not control the thoughts that come to our minds. But we certainly control how they affect us and how we react to them.
