Volcanic mountains are a wonderful sight to see, from a distance.
Most volcanoes are ticking time bombs, waiting to violently explode...
Some explode and die, becoming just mountains. While others stay active all the time...wrecking havoc
What is a volcano?
A volcano usually occurs between destructive or constructive boundaries where plates are pushed together or dragged apart.
Cracking or weaknesses allow Magma to rise up from below, causing a lot of pressure to seep through the top.
Too much pressure from down below will cause the magma to explode, blowing the top tip of the volcano off. The eruptions usually include big explosions, and fiery, poisonous ash into the atmosphere, also releasing hot bubbles of lava so that it escapes, and drips down the volcano... destroying everything in its path...
Should we be afraid of volcanoes?... Yes, they are very dangerous, as we know from history.
But still they are a beautiful sight to see, and without them, we wouldn't have many of the beautiful islands and mountains that were formed because of their destructive power.
We just have to trust science to warn us in time before they erupt, so we can be safe and enjoy nature from a distance.
Thank you all again and I'll see you in the next post...
