It is, it's truly, everything you're saying is true. It's incredibly beautiful, poignant poem and it illustrates, it shares with the world how true poetry, true poetry is expressed through our vulnerability. A poet must be able to make themselves vulnerable.
If they do not, they're only giving you half-truths and vulnerability is heart and soul of poetry. Thank you, Blue, for sharing that. Let me do a quick mic check with Blue because I know he's requested again.
I know I brought him back up. The part of my thing tells me he's here. Part of it says he's still requesting.
Mic check, Blue, are you here or you're not here? I'm seeing him as a request. I see him as a request. I see him as a request.
Because every time I press accept request, it says he's able to speak and then it says there's an error adding him as a guest. Try again. So, okay, let him come back again.
Angel, let's hear you while Blue tries to come up. The mark of a great poem is the one that will punch you in the guts. And I felt that, I felt that piece.
I really felt that piece. And I agree 100% with what Vicky said about vulnerability. That's something I relate to quite strongly.
And I think in this piece, see something that's truly heartfelt. And that's what makes it colourful, when you can see the spectra of one's emotions in the words and the silences in between. And that's something I especially liked about that piece that Blue to Black shared.
So, thanks a lot for sharing that with us. I hope you'll get a chance to return to the mic. If not in this space, certainly will be in each other's spaces soon.
