This weekend is a flashback to the extreme cold a few weeks ago.
The eastern wind from hell is back, but it should only last until monday. From tuesday on, things should be better.
This eastern wind from hell means I won't be spending a lot of time on the computer. It's just too cold over there! No, my days will be spend close to the woodstove. That means steeming on my netbook and no gaming. I'm happy I played some Skyrim yesterday!
I didn't write an actual 'blog' blog yesterday, so I'm running behind on telling you what we've been up to!
On thursday evening, we went to a concert from Omnia!
I had never seen them live before. Actually, I don't think I really heard a lot of their music before either, so I was exited to see/hear them. They did not disappoint! So many different instruments and influences in their music. I was really impressed with the woman on the harp. I loved that they had a harp in their music!
I think for me, they are definitely a band I'd rather see live than listen to on cd/Spotify. It's the whole live experience that makes it awesome for me. When I listen to Spotify, I'm not as interested in all of these different influences and rather stick to a few themes.
So the concert was awesome! Then on friday, we went into the city for a bit to buy new black clothes for my boyfriend, since he didn't have anything fitting to wear for the funeral. I also bought a few simple shirts.
In the evening, my boyfriend's best friend came over for some beers and we watched some tv. I'd been having a headache all day, so I was glad he didn't stay until too late. I quickly hopped under the shower and then went to bed.
The wind outside made plenty of noise all night long and the house was creaking a lot. I eventually used earplugs, because I couldn't get to sleep. This morning, the headache was still lurking, but after getting up and drinking my tea, the headache disappeared almost completely. I still have to take it easy today, or it'll come back.
We don't have many plans today, but tonight, there's a condolence hour. Then on monday is a condolence moment again and then the funeral service and actual funeral. So that's gonna be a heavy morning.
On sunday, we have nothing.
Alright, that's it for now, hope you'll all have a good weekend!
