Remember most of what we see online is fabricated ... bounty hunters and bot shops; this has been going on for a long time. From where I am sitting, Trump has very little real support left. MAHA and the moderates don't support him anymore, and A LOT of MAGA does not support him, including very high-profile right leaning pundits like Tucker, Candace Owens, Alex Jones, even MTG. The mid-terms will show that; but alas it won't make much of a difference.
That one man has all that power is a façade anyways. We live in a corporate world. We are ruled mostly be oligarchy. That oligarchy clearly controls both sides of the aisle. We are misdirected to focus on Trump and fight each other over Trump, when it is the system itself that has been captured.
Just about everyone wants the same kind of change over all if we were to drop labels and the identity politics. Most everyday people are old-school social democrats whether they know it or not. Why would they not be?
It is the division and scapegoating that is the main tool of hoarding and power-mongering ... war-mongering. The DEMS would be doing the same thing; they pretty much did the same thing; they just would be using more sophisticated, less blunt language to rationalize the violence and control and pleny of mis-directed appeals to our emotions and virtue ... our sense of superiority. They would have us fighting each other ... they have us fighting each other. That is what party-politics does.
Trump is an old, very unpopular man; he will be there until he is not; nature will have the not come very soon; but the system will still be there when he is gone. Our hyper-focus on Trump, and other bogeymen, is one of the tools that keeps it going. To me, Trump is almost beside the point.
