So I guess it is time to be the old guy in class, I am returning to school. I recently put in for my VA school benefits so I should be hearing back from them in a bit. Or longer, government paperwork is never fast.
Image is the result of a Google search on welder, no cool pics of me doing it yet.
I've decided to study welding, a career that seems fairly promising. I am a smaller framed individual that can for in tight spaces so that should open up a few jobs, and trade jobs are hurting for people right now. I will probably be making posts related to welding as I go through the schooling so be ready for some nifty posts.
I grew fairly burnt out being an EMT. As an example when I wrote burnt out my suggested words on my phone finished that sentence for me. The medical field is draining, and I don't want to fork out tons of money and a good couple of years of my life to become a nurse or paramedic when I can make the same as a welder. I hit my finish point as a medical professional. I am tired of nursing homes, nurses, and 500+ lb patients.
So I start a new chapter on my life shortly, and I am pretty darn excited for it. I am going to attempt to share the journey with you as best I can.
