Day Two Down... 29 To Go!
I won't lie, I got kind of carried away with this one. The word of the day, per the prompt is "Divided" and as I was sitting there in my living room, trying to decide what to draw, one of my friends says that he doesn't want to use pen. He doesn't draw with pen apparently. He would prefer to do "Graphitober". So, jokingly I say that isn't fair. That is singling out only pencil users. Of course, he retorts that inktober is only for pen users and then it occured to me.
This is Divided
Inktober, I have of course heard of it but I am not entirely sure why it is ink. Right off the bat I considered Artober and Drawtober both of which are more encompassing than Inktober .So why, why is it only ink?
I haven't found a reason why. It actually looks like these challenges have been done longer than I thought, with #drawtober and #inktober both being popularized on plenty of art site.
Shows what I know.
By the time I looked it up, I had already finished though. It did occur to me while writing, the whole thing is divisive. Maybe it is a stretch, but there were 3 of us at the table and I was the one with pens. My friend ended up drawing in pencil and my other friend just talked while we arted.
