I spent my a part of my Sunday at a garage sale. I love garage sales and there are things that some people may not find of use anymore that could be useful for me.
So here I am being practical and trying to find a diamond in the rough or a treasure that could be the answer to my dreams, lol!
Now there is a large warehouse that holds garage sales and used items. I began scouring for items that I could use at home or for myself.
When you get inside, you can easily see the toys on the shelves. There are a lot of toys that are durable and could last a long time especially for active kids and toddlers.
Moving along, I found different ceramic and crystal ornaments. Lovely vases and kitchen glassware are also present.
Don't you just love books?
I was amazed by the array of books displayed! I haven't had time to read a good book lately but maybe I'll be back again and purchase a couple or more. I love the smell of paper from old books, weird but it makes me think that the book has traveled and made someone a step more knowledgeable and more imaginative.
Next to the books are the paintings. One abstract painting caught my eye because of the use of lively colors. Looking at the painting made me feel happy, it looks like a fair at night.
So I scoured my way further and found a group of Christmas ornaments, I remembered my ornaments were already torn and some are broken.
So I purchased some to get ready for Christmas decorating this November. It was a good deal, brand new and I got two boxes worth 2 dollars. I was happy with my purchase, I wanted to explore more, a lot of great deals but I got tired and hungry, plus my allergies was starting to act up.
It was a good hour for me to explore and keep an eye for future purchases. I will definitely be back next time soon.
