What is Blue moon
A blue moon is a second full moon in a month. A supermoon is a particularly close full or new moon appearing brighter and bigger, Lunar eclipse or blood moon is tiny reddish tinge today has moon complety bathed in shadow.
Blue Blood Moon ��
The "Super blood moon" is very rare celestial body and total lunar eclipse is about to happen after 1982.
The moon is showing cosmic show today, it's the first time in 35 years that a blue blood moon has and has synced with supermoon and with total lunar eclipse, the best thing you can experience this from India.
Showtime
The lunar eclipse began at 4:21pm and lasted till 9:40 pm (IST). North eastern India will be the first to watch this from 4:20 to 5:20 pm , following this the rest of the country will be able to see it till 7:45 pm
Display
It can be seen with the naked eye too. Binoculars and telescope will enhance your view and its beauty. This is the second time it's a full moon in a month.
Event
Hundreds of people visited India's Gate New Delhi to watch the "Blue Blood Moon Day". A special Dubsonian telescope was used to get the clear view. The instrument allowed the skywatchers to look at the moon 20 times bigger through naked eye.
