Dear Hivers,
Have you ever lost something and found it again… a couple of years later?
If you are in that situation, you can imagine the joy within. It is a priceless moment that draws a smile on your face. Almost feels like finding a lottery ticket under your couch.
For me?
I was lost in happiness because I finally found my password. :)
You see, I lost my Steem password and found it again.
Before I explain, I wish to introduce myself.
This is my first post on Hive, so I will be talking a little bit about myself. :)
My name is Sid.
In fact, almost three years ago, I started writing full-time on Steemit as an anonymous guy. I published articles for 3 months.
One of my post was a smashing hit. It was about making money as a blogger:
Around this time, I got a new laptop and left the login details on my desktop. With this new laptop — a new office — and dreams… I started working as a marketing consultant.
The new office is lovely, I must say:
Here's the silly issue:
I was logged into Steemit on my browser, so I was able to move the tokens but I didn’t know what my password was. Stupid, I know. I only remember that I saved the password somewhere.
Perhaps we all go through this, isn’t it? We pickup something and forget it. Save it. And lose it. Remember it. And then forget it.
Moment I discovered the issue around Justin Sun and Steemit, I came back — without a password. I browsed through the articles — without a password. And I read the discussion inside Steemit — without a password.
This is where I was watching Hive — the developers, the community, and the power of decentralisation coming together. Everyone was talking about it — appreciating the effort, team work, and the joy of creating a positive community.
It truly is a blessing to witness unity.
It got me hooked. And now I am here filled with gratitude. :)
I am excited to have the opportunity to enter Hive. There's a lot of catching up do — from going through the feed to finding new content and building relationship.
My goal is to create quality content and contribute to the growth of the community. I would love to make new connections and follow you in this journey.
Why? Because the future with Hive seems incredibly bright — and we can participate right now. If we save the password. 😀
Have you? I finally have!
In the future, I aim to write lots of content in and around growth, life, business, and Hive. Let's enjoy this journey!
If you are reading this, a simple "Hi" will make me smile! :)
Can't wait to connect with everyone!
