On any given day, on almost any given site, you will find the online Romeo. For some reason, these Romeos think that any young lady who comments to them, is an invitation for said Romeo to start chatting them up, which wouldn't be so bad, but then they always take it that one step further. They start to ask these unsuspecting ladies personal questions, which they have no right to do on a normal site. There are those sites for that online flirting, they are called dating sites.
Yesterday I was on a chat site site, which was what promted me to write this. I was just talking to a few people and one of them was a young lady. I innocently asked her how old she was, because at the time, her manner of speaking hinted at a teenager. She responded she was 23, which surprised me. A little later I asked her where she might be from, which triggered her, and at that moment, I think she may have thought I was trying to "hit on her'. This was the farthest thing from my mind, but I guess she didn't think so. If she happens across this post, I hope she realizes I was just trying to have a conversation with her, and for that matter anyone else who would have liked to chime in.
I can see why she might think I was hitting on her, because like I mentioned above, it happens everyday. It must be hard for some of these young ladies to have a decent conversation online at times. What is even worse are these idiots that think it's perfectly fine to send "dick pics" to these ladies without any warning whatsoever. I can't believe some of these idiots do this.
If I was a young lady online, and some guy sent me a dick pic, I'd be looking them up on FaceBook, I'd find out if this was some guy who was either married or going steady in a relationship, and return the favor by sending the pic to their loved ones. After all, if they thought it was alright to send it to you, why not think it was alright to send it to his family, friends and if be, his wife!
Anyway, I guess I will have to be more careful of what I say and ask online. I'm very out going and like to learn about people, but some times that thin line can be crossed, and I can understand how that can be constrewed as "hitting on" someone with unwanted attention.
