What is a Winning Habit?
In a nutshell, a winning habit is something that you do that has a positive impact on your life. It may be writing a daily blog here on Steemit, walking 20,000 steps per day or something else. Developing winning habits will not only help you achieve what you set out to do but also improve aspects of your life where you want to better yourself.
So, how do you develop a winning habit? Firstly, it is all about consistency, a habit is formed when you regularly do something repeatedly, almost like a tradition. Not all habits are winning ones, things such as smoking, (although there is addiction also involved with this.), having a cup of coffee when you first get up. Developing a habit is simple enough, whether good or bad, you simply repeat the same actions. So let's say you apply this to develop a winning habit, one way of doing this is either replacing or accompanying one of your other habits, so if every morning you have a cup of coffee, for the next 7 days, have a cup of coffee in the morning and write a blog at the same time, after a week, it will become second nature.
Also when developing a winning habit, it is all about attitude, don't see it as a chore, but something you enjoy doing and with reason to, set a goal of what you want to achieve, and then repeatedly do it. This way the habit will develop and will almost become second nature after all consistency is the mother of success.
