The Great Pyramid of Giza
Did you know that the Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and the largest of the three structures in the Giza pyramid complex? It's also the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, as well as the only one still largely intact. The pyramid is believed to be a tomb for the Fourth Dynasty Egyptian pharaoh Khufu. The mass of the pyramid is estimated to be 5.9 million tonnes! For over 3,800 years, it was the tallest man-made structure until the spire of the Lincoln Cathedral was completed.
One day, I'd like to visit the pyramids! Have you ever been there?
