A couple of days ago in my daily dose column I made mention of former President Bush and the current President Trump, in fact I said they were “so called president”, I also referred to them as usurpers of the office of President. Well those are pretty strong accusations so I decided that rather than wait and write a long series of daily doses on the subject I would try and just cut to the chase and see if I couldn’t just get it all laid out in today’s daily dose. So here we go, let’s get started.
The Constitution of the United States of America is the founding document of this country, and in Article VI of the constitution it provides that " and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States." The office of the President is an executive office, so to take the position of president an oath is required, I think we can all agree on that, correct? Okay, let’s move on.
So now we need to find where the oath is located that needs to be taken by these executive and judicial officers, and that would be found in “The Laws of The United States. Acts of The First Congress of The United States. The first session was held at the City of New York and began March 4, 1789, it continued to September 29, 1789."
Statute 1. / Chapter 1. --- An act to regulate the time and manner of administering certain oaths
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and {House of} Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the oath or affirmation required by the sixth article of the Constitution of the United States, shall be administered in the form following, to wit: “I, A. B. do solemnly swear or affirm (as the case may be) that I will support the Constitution of the United States.”
The act goes on and gives a time line on when the oath needs to take place and such. But the required oath is very clear in the wording, obviously the ‘A. B.’ is the name of the person taking the oath and the person taking the oath would say their own name. When you read it though, supporting the constitution is the oath, nothing more or nothing less.
This clearly states that this is the oath that is required for compliance with Article VI of the constitution. No if’s, ands, or buts, this is the oath. No religious test, no “so help me God” It is one simple sentence.
Most people are led to believe that the presidential oath of office is all that is needed to be sworn too, but the fact is this oath and the presidential oath of office are required, yes, it takes both oaths to become president. It also takes two oaths to become a senator or congressman, judges as well. Remember Article VI says, “all executive and judicial officers”, none of these people are taking this oath as required. Given that situation, all of these offices are vacant and usurpers are acting in place of sworn officials.
Article II of the Constitution spells out that the oath in Article VI makes them the President, it reads as; The oath of office of the President of the United States is the oath or affirmation that the President of the United States takes after assuming the presidency but before he or she begins the execution of the office. So assuming the office of the presidency is done with the first oath, execution of the office can’t be done until the second oath is sworn or affirmed.
I went online and at the fordlibrarymuseum.gov website I found the Presidential Oath of Office it reads, “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
This oath means that the person taking this oath will do the job of president but without the first oath from article VI they never assumed the presidency, thus we have no lawful president, we actually have an outlaw in the White House pretending to be president. So the term, “so called” is the proper term to describe them, because we call them "president", even though the actual process was never completed as required by the Constitution.
If the presidents were in fact taking both oaths we would know, it would be a back to back swearing of oaths on inauguration day, it isn’t happening. Like always, we are too busy to pay attention to details, plus we are never taught these things in our education system. The only way you find these things out is by reading the congressional records and the official; government documents.
The oath of office that so called president Trump took for his Article II oath wasn’t even correct at that, the oath as required does not have the person swearing the oath state their name, that is done in the first oath they are supposed to take, but if you read the text or watch a film of the Trump swearing in ceremony he says, “I, Donald John Trump…” that isn’t the oath as stated in Article II section one, it’s close, but close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.
If these people can’t, or won’t, take the proper oaths how can they be trusted? How are you defending the constitution when you won’t even abide by it when taking the highest office in the land? You’re not; you are actually a belligerent to the United States.
I’ve already pointed out in a previous daily dose how Trump violated the law during the aftermath of the Parkland Florida high school shooting when he ordered the flags to half staff. It was a nice gesture, but a clear violation of the law.
Let me rephrase that, it would be a clear violation of the law if we weren’t in a national emergency; all the laws and the constitution are suspended in a national emergency. We are under martial law in cases of a national emergency; did you know that we have been under a state of national emergency since way back in 1933? You didn’t, well I just let the cat out of the bag then, because we have been and still are to this day.
And that is why these people get away with the things they do, executive orders are used in times of national emergency. How many executive orders have you seen presidents issue in your lifetime? Hundreds if not thousands would be my guess.
So there you have it. Some of you may say that this oath thing is not a “big deal” and to that I say; they have you right where they want you. Maybe in a future daily dose I will expand on the national emergency situation, or better yet, why don’t some of you look into it?
I know, it’s no big deal. I’ll do it, I remember reading a congressional record from around 1973 or so that covered it real well.
Until next time,
