I don't want to make a federal case out it and I will still be here stacking and posting about stacking, among other things, I just no longer want to be listed as part of the group. This may sound silly to you and that's fine. I found stacking here and will always be a stacker. I have made friends here and lost a few too, and I may lose more by making this choice but I feel I have to.
I'll try to explain, in case you care, but I'm not sure if it will make sense to you because it has to do with my values which are obviously different than yours.
I love personal freedom, for everyone. I really believe that anyone should be able to say or do just about anything they want as long as it does not harm anyone else. I also feel we need more empathy in the world as the population grows. There is too much hate in this world (in my opinion) and it would do us all well to try and be more understanding. Blah blah blah, that's the end of the lecture.
The reason I don't want to be part of the group is that one of the members is posting hateful posts that I don't want to be associated with(I know, unfollow & mute). Again, you may not see it this way and that's fine. I don't like the way it makes me feel so that means it's time for me to go above and beyond, "unfollow" & "mute", and disassociate myself from this person. I tried to work it out but to no avail, so I apologize to anyone who feels slighted by my decision, believe me, it was not an easy one.
I suppose I could have done this directly and privately with the mods but I feel I owe it to the friends that I have made to try and explain my reasoning and be upfront about it with you. I hope to talk to you soon.
