It was so exciting to see lots of engagement on my post. I know it's mainly due to some influential people upvoting and reblogging, nonetheless its really encouraging. Many people shared and related their first experience here on HIVE. Some even shared some advice and things to consider to which I am really grateful.
Today I've checked out many awesome content creators and they seem to make 2-3 post every week. That seem to work quite well for them. However for now, I've convinced myself to follow similar pattern. It's important to keep motivated and not get burned out easily at the same time.
So today I joined a webinar on Blockchain and its applications. I figured it would be worth it.
The session simply covered basic theoretical part of the blockchain where they explained why blockchain emerged and how a blockchain works.
They also explained how currently we are largely living on centralized system where a central authority controls everything which has lots of underlying disadvantages. Blockchain technology aims to solve that problem by creating a decentralized system using distributed ledger.
There was lots of valuable stuffs which I wouldn't be able to explain in this single blog post but I must say it explained a lot of things regarding blockchain works.
I also learned different modals of blockchain. HIVE uses delegated Proof of Stake where community appointed Witnesses produces blocks. It seems HIVE witness have important role to make sure that everything is running smoothly and is secured.
I feel like now I've managed to understand most the basics stuffs around here, enough to make me admire the beauty of this network and the community. I plan to enter that contest that was suggested to me on comments on my previous posts tomorrow.
