Over the past few months the popular video publishing platform known as YouTube has been obliterating video's it disagrees with for political reasons, this has been proven time and time again to be a result of government corporate sponsors.

YouTube has been doing this in the form of labeling videos posted on the site as not advertiser friendly and clearly states that this was of "manual" review for which hundreds of people by now have proven to be completely false simply due to the amount of videos that have been targeted. This is leading many to seek alternatives to the sire

For many this has jeopardized many organizations that use the platform and rely on the revenue it creates to make a living, many have been using sites like, patreon.com, steemit and relying on donations as an alternative.

A new platform in collation with steemit.com called dtube.video is a brand new YouTube alternative that not only allows people to make a revenue return from posting videos but also allows for complete free speech and the diminishing of copyright. My personal review of the site is that it's a bit basic and it's looks could be improved upon but the concept is good and is hopefully going to be one step forward towards a decentralized none authoritarian society.

Just like on steemit.com you simply give a video a like (or an upvote) and it dedicates your steem power to that post, if you have a large amount of steem power this can also allow you to curate.

dtube has a very simple step by step process just like YouTube allowing you to upload video's with ease, allowing you to add a title a description and this will automatically post to steemit.com when you upload.
