Nobody can stand in the way of your success except You
One lesson I tend to learn over and over and yet seem to forget is that I am the only one stopping myself from being the person I want to be. This fact has been magnified since I have been on Steemit and created this blog working towards a goal in my heart that keeps changing. The solutions always need to be evolving to maintain continuity and clarity of thought and desire. I trudge along some days and others everything in my way of thinking seems so simple, I think an American doctor would prescribe pills for this behavior but rather than a diagnosis that may or may not be inaccurate I will just continue this trudge and work through my shortcomings.
While the thoughts run through my head I look to the sky and am instantly mystified and humbled by the beauty around me as it evolves and changes to keep me enchanted on a daily basis. When I am distracted is when this beauty escapes me and I find myself lost in my own thoughts and sometimes negative thinking that ultimately tells me I don't deserve to have my dreams comes true. There are times when I believe the negative things I tell myself and this is truly a blessing, because moments of clarity tell me that if I can believe the negative things and allow these negative things to bring me down than how could it not be true that thinking positive thing and allowing them to bring me up not be an option?
There are many books and self help groups and also plenty of doctors that can fix you for a fee, but none of that matters unless you realize for yourself that the only person stopping you from realizing your dreams is YOU. It all sounds so simple when somebody tell you this, usually someone that cares for you greatly and can't understand why you put yourself through such trials. No matter your mood, so long as you can realize that your are in control is all that matters. Own your pain and negative thoughts and emotions and use them to transform yourself through a conscious change in perception.
I have been on a journey I like to refer to as my life and hope it continues to surprise and help my continual evolutionary process the best possible way imaginable. Through open sharing and honesty I hope to connect with people in the community that are like minded and strive with hope to be their best possible selves.. through self discovery.
