Hello everyone,
I am working on some custom built cabinets. Well actually just the doors and drawers. The guy I am doing them for really wanted them to stand out and asked me to finish them for him. Over the next several days I will be working on these and taking some pictures as I go. And plan to update on here my progress and the steps I am taking to get a professional finish on these.
Here is the pile I have to work with 50 pieces in all.
First picture is at the guy who built them's shop second one is in mine.
First thing I am working on is priming these. I am using oil cover stain primer by Zinsser. Image source
I am spraying these with an HVLP sprayer with a power cart which is a fancy name for a 2 gallon pot with an air compressor that is portable.
Here I am with my protective gear on to spray
Tonight I could only spray one side of these and I did not have room to spray all of them. Tomorrow I will finish the back sides on what I could not finish tonight and the front side of any I can fit in the area I have set up for drying.
