I'm only halfway through this book but even the first few pages of reading it, Seth has already quoted some remarkable insights into what marketing really is.
From what I've gathered so far:
- People don't just buy the product, they buy it for the feeling that product will give them
- Connecting deeply with a strong core fanbase is more important than the masses
- Good marketers fix problems to elicit changes
These are only my own takeaways from it, but there are many more. And I feel every influencer should read this book as it goes so deep into the actual purpose of your content that it makes me never want to do daily videos on DTube ever again. For me, my videos need a bigger purpose than earning money or being consistent.
It has to fix a problem. Still figuring that one out, but do yourself a favour and go to your local library or buy this book. It's a really good read and I'm enjoying going through it slowly.
Take care, honey bears.
