Henna, also known as Mehndi, is an art of body decoration. Henna is made from the powder of leaves of Henna plant (Lawsonia Inermis). Botanists believe henna traces its history back to Egypt where Egytpian mummies’ hair and nails were stainned reddish by using henna leaf powder.
Today, using henna is very common for body art in Sub continent, Africa and Middle East. Its mostly used on feet, and both sides of the hands. But people are now modernizing this ancient art by experimenting with new designs and applying techniques and calling it henna tattoos.
Here is one design I like apply the most.
