Tomorrow through Sunday I will be a guest at Liberty Con in Chattanooga. I sometimes feel like a fraud being a guest because I am a little literary fish in such a group of big names. I feel less so this year because I have been pretty consistent with sales. I also now have a few books out that are entirely by me and not simply anthologies I edited. In fact please check out my book A Wolf in Petticoats: Essays exploring Darwinism, Sexuality, and Gender in Late Victorian Gothic Horror https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FIGYBIW
this is an academic book, but it is certainly the best work I have done. It includes most of my thesis centering around how Darwin impacted late Victorian Gothic horror.
This book is most likely why I will be moderating the panel on the roots of vampire eroticism at the con on Saturday at 6 pm. If you are at the con come out to that. I'm also on panels about what is new in Steampunk and Archaeology and Science Fiction.
