Throughout my travels I am constantly checking out awesome smoke shops around the country. I see cool stuff all the time. Even though I rarely remember, I try to snag a few photos of the best and most interesting pieces I come across. Today I shall share a few of them with you!
This first piece is absolutely stunning. It is currently residing in a glass gallery in Tallahassee Florida. Tobacco Leaf is an absolute must see gallery for any aficionado of high end functional art. Water is filled to allow for a bubbling effect that emanates throughout the whole piece creating a shimmering effect to her whole body.
Even cooler is what happens to the glass as it is subject to Ultraviolet light.
The blue hues is a color called Blu-v whereas the pink is a color called Lucy. Whom and where these names for specific colors of glass I haven't a clue, but they seem to enjoy coming up with creative names.
While I'm on a Florida Smoke shop kick, here's a cool little piece.
This little dude is in a shop in Gainesville, Florida (go Gators). He totally doesn't break copyright laws.
And finally for the day:
It's a baloon animal glass sculpture. How cool is that?! And just because I know you were wondering the name if this color is Purple Lollipop. Well, how about that.
'Til next time!
See ya.
