My photos today are from my visit this past week to Rocks State Park in Harford County, Maryland. It was chilly and overcast on the day of my visit but, luckily, no rain. ๐
Did anyone else notice what looks like an eye on the King and Queen Seat in my first photo? No? Uhhh..nevermind then! There are a lot of rocks and boulders at "Rocks" State Park and there were so many leaves on the ground that it made walking the rocky path a bit difficult.
So, I know you're wondering if I made it out onto the outcrop and that would be a negative. I don't know that I would even try again. I put a little yellow "x" on the rock in the second photo to show how far I went out. Besides learning that I may have an issue with heights, I've also pulled my back too many times in the last couple of weeks (sometimes twice in a day). Over stupid stuff like the slightest twist or just reaching for something off a shelf. This is in addition to my other muscle spasms. To be honest I feel like I am fighting a battle with a deep depression trying to creep in. I'm just going to leave that there as I really don't want to talk about it anymore than I have right now but I will continue my fight pretty much like I have most of my life. Maybe that "eye" in the first photo of my post is there to keep an eye on me..lol. ๐คจ
I did get pretty close the the edge on the side of the rock formation and I really love the photos I got!
I tried to get some photos of the trees from the spot that I stood at just before the outcrop. Thank goodness for zoom!
Not too impressive as far as Autumn colors! I did see a pretty tree here and there nestled among other trees when I took a short walk on a trail by the King and Queen Seat.
Let's check out some more of the nice boulders that I spied in the area!
My last two photos were taken by the picnic area which is between the parking lot and the King and Queen Seat. No boulders but some pretty trees and scenery.
That's it folks! Thanks for visiting with me on my visit to Rocks State Park! ๐
