Captain Cook Park
Captain Cook park in Alaska, north of Kenai, at the end of Kenai Spur highway.
I picked this field of water logged boulders for the challenge this Sunday. I know from the distance these do not look very big. Some of them are not but some of them are quite large. This is the area of smaller boulders, to the north they get much larger. Very large in fact. But this one I liked because of the similarity of the smaller boulder in the foreground, and the cloud over the mountains. See the pink boxes below.
I thought the shapes were pretty cool. To me a boulder is a rock I can not move. So it does not have to be a really big rock
