One of the perks of being in Los Angeles whether as a visitor or a resident is since so much TV and movie filming is done throughout the city there are unique opportunities to see some of the same locations that were used on your favorite shows.
For example, the picture below may bring up a vague memory of a show from years ago. That would be for good reason since it is the house that was used for exterior shots for the iconic The Brady Bunch television show.
Additions have been made including the front fence and a big tree now dominates the left side of the driveway but the basic iconic roofline is still evident. The house was not use for interior filming. (Also note a that through the magic of television a second floor was added for the show.) You can almost imagine Marcia answering the front door to see Davy Jones coming to save the day. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood in Studio City by the LA River and is an easy drive by for a trip down memory lane.
I think the episode where the kids sang together as the Silver Platters to win money for a gift for their parents is one of my favorites.
What is your favorite Brady Bunch memory?
