Ordinals on BTC is a wild ride!! Conceived about a year ago but really only active for less than a year, the protocol has garnered over 30million transactions on the BTC blockchain since January of this year.
Impressive.
Even more impressive have been the various different protocols that have come into existence along with all of the different NFT collections floating about on there.
There are token protocols, SNS naming protocols, metaverse protocols and lots of other Nobel things being created on the oldest blockchain. It’s pretty exciting.
Even MORE impressive is the $sats token that has been steadily minting since March. Each minting transaction can yield a hundred million sats and
OVER HALF OF ALL ORDINAL INSCRIPTIONS have been mints of this token. That’s 15 million +++ minting transactions.
There are +35000 wallets holding tokens and a really active secondary market…. ALREADY… before it’s been minted out fully, for a couple of bucks a pop. It’s mind boggling that there has been 24BTC in volume spent on people buying minted coins instead of just minting it themselves………….
