I was just on Discord a few minutes ago, and the new Steemit Logo was mentioned... So I came back here and refreshed my browser... and this.. (the one at the top left cornet of your browser).
For real!!! Is this the best you can do??! What a disappointment to go from this..

It's a septic green speech bubble (has Steemit all of a sudden changed to a messaging or chat platform?). I don't get it. If it's to get a certain degree of separation from Steem, and giving Steemit its own identity, I think it's a step to far. Steemit is built around Steem. Steem it what powers Steemit, and so the Steem logo should still feature in some way, surely? Am I missing the pint completely here? And GREEN!!!!! As someone who is slightly colorblind, I find it a strain to look at certain shades of green. I can barely see the dividers.
What about the work that has gone into building the Steemit Brand, and various Steemit Communities?
The work that has gone into building the original Steemit brand, with whole communities on Steemit adding their flavors and individuality, like these:
To me this new logo look more like a chat platform, or some kind of chemical company logo. It's a "NO!" from me.
