Today, as many people, especially Britons will know, is the 20th anniversary of the 7th July Islamic attacks on London’s transport infrastructure. Fifty two innocent people died at the hands of the savage Moslems who set off bombs on underground trains and a bus.
I’ve spoken about this anniversary in an article on here previous to this one but it is not the anniversary itself that I want to talk about here, it’s the words of the political classes regarding the anniversary. The vast majority of the words that have come out of the mouths or pens of the political and Establishment classes from the King downwards have been masterclasses in not telling the whole truth about what happened on 7/7. There’s been copious amounts of bullshit spoken by Establishment types about ‘togetherness’, ‘pulling together’, ‘community’ and overcoming ‘hate’ but sod all about the nature of the attackers or the ideology that inspired them to carry out their attacks. What we are seeing is the Establishment, from its highest parts to its more lowly bits whitewashing and laundering Islamic mass murder. Personally I feel that such behaviour is disgusting, is an insult to those who were murdered or maimed by these Islamic terrorist savages and clearly shows what side much of Britain’s Establishment is on. Hint, it’s not OUR side.
If everyone from the King to local councillors had any sense of a functioning moral compass they would have mentioned, even once, that it was extremist followers of Islam that set off bombs and committed mass murder. But they didn’t. Everyone, every political party leader, every MP, every Establishment type with a media or social media platform, chose to issue mealy mouthed statements that obscured more than they revealed.
However there was one laudable and praiseworthy exception to the parade of cowards and Islamopanderers that we’ve seen marking the anniversary of the 7/7 attack and that is the Conservative MP Nick Timothy. Mr Timothy took to the X platform to say what many Britons wanted our ruling class to say about 7/7. In a series of posts on X Mr Timothy told the truth about 7/7, a truth that our Establishment doesn’t want to voice themselves. I say well done Mr Timothy I just wish there were more politicians willing to tell the truth about jihad as you did.
Here’s Mr Timothy’s thread of posts:
