NYC Stubborn Pattern Persists With Nice Days Here And There
Good afternoon everyone. We have another nice but breezy and seasonably cool day here today. Meanwhile, cloudy and raw weather returns tomorrow, with overall cool weather for early to mid-May continuing onward.
SATELLITE
Rain clears out by early Thursday morning, then some late blue patches could help get us into the low to mid 60's depending on how much sunshine we get.
Rain returns on Friday afternoon for another free day of lawn watering. Highs in the low to mid 60's will keep it from feeling too raw, but a nice day it won't be.
We play the game again over and over, and Saturday is looking like a clouds and sun-type day, with a stiff breeze, and chilly temps in the mid to upper 50's. Cool weather continues for Sunday, with less wind but mid to upper 50's remain.
Overall we're just having a really tough time breaking this pattern as we continue to kick the can down the road in terms of any hope for change. Rain comes in and out every few days, then sunny, windy, and cool; then a mild day here or there before rain returns.
Please note that with regards to any tropical storms or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
